Words from our learners

Hear it from people learning with us.

These are testimonials from Linguafrica’s Twi in 3 Days learners.

“Learning twi with Della and Linguafrica was a wonderful and educational experience! I was able to connect with other people interested in the language across the globe and practice speaking and in text which are both valuable ways to process new information. The team is kind, attentive, and helpful in all ways so I highly recommend their classes!”

Twi in 3 Days learner

“After my first visit to Ghana in February last year, I fell in Love with the Country and wanted to learn Twi. Whilst browsing through Instagram, I came across Linguafrica. I choose it because it was a short course for beginners, affordable and I loved the concept of it being taught through WhatsApp. It was great having daily lessons and tasks, and I loved that we got feedback and corrections from a Native Twi speaker. I have still retained what I learnt, and use it when I talk to the friends I have made in Ghana. Medaase pa!”

Inside your membership

Know what to expect, from joining to speaking.

Your learning happens on WhatsApp, with a new focus each week and tutor feedback to help you practise. You don’t need to know Twi already.

01 · JOIN

Choose your support

Choose Circle, Plus or Personal and complete your payment through Stripe. Enter foundingmember50 at checkout for 50% off your first month. After successful payment, Stripe takes you to the WhatsApp group invitation. If you need help joining, email hello@linguafrica.co.

02 · LEARN

Get a lesson each Monday

Open WhatsApp to find the week’s Twi lesson and practice task. Each week focuses on useful language for everyday situations, such as greetings, introductions, family, food or shopping. Read or listen to the lesson, then return to it as you practise through the week.

03 · PRACTISE

Put the language into use

Try the task using the words and phrases from the lesson. For speaking practice, record a voice note so your tutor can hear your pronunciation. You can ask questions about the parts you find difficult and practise alongside other members in the WhatsApp community.

04 · GET FEEDBACK

Understand what to improve

Your native Twi-speaking tutor responds to your practice with guidance. Use that feedback to work on your pronunciation and how you put phrases together, then try again. The aim is to help you understand your next step, rather than leave you guessing whether you’ve said something correctly.

05 · CONNECT

Bring your learning together

Friday’s cultural tip connects the language with its wider context. Join the one-hour group Zoom on the last Thursday of each month at 6pm GMT for live conversation practice. Recordings are available if you miss the session or want to revisit it.

PLUS & PERSONAL

Make time for your own goals

Plus includes one private coaching call each month; Personal includes two. Each call lasts up to one hour, depending on what you want to work on. Use this time for individual speaking practice, pronunciation and your questions. Email hello@linguafrica.co after joining to arrange your call.

A routine you can return to

One lesson and task each week, practice through the week, and feedback to help you move forward. Membership renews monthly. You can cancel at any time through Stripe or by emailing hello@linguafrica.co. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid the next charge. Your access continues until the end of your paid month.

Our mission is to make African languages accessible, enjoyable and relevant, so more people can communicate with confidence and feel closer to the people and cultures they care about.
